My first perfume, please help !!?

so i went out to buy the first perfume of my life.... Totally oblivious of all the brands, the strengths or even the way to use one .... I just noticed young girls my age smelling awesome as they pass by and thought it would be a good idea to take one step closer to sophistication... So i went to this mall and entered a store, they asked me whether i want a mild one or a strong one and made me smell coffee beans and four or fives fragrances one after the other ... I ended up buying 100 ml of one fragrance after liking it ''provocative woman by elizabeth arden'' and now am unsure how to go about using it ... Am i to use it everyday . . After bath on my pulse points or on my clothes as i step out . . And what should the amount be like . . I realize that i just don't smell to myself and am not certain if people around me are smelling me or not . . How do i wear a perfume ???
