How can this even happen? Seems impossible, but i'll let you be the judge....?

I recently moved to the pacific northwest, kinda cold, but beautiful. Recently it came to my attention that people here love coffee, and music, which is fine by me, BUT, i hate the ashtrays and toyota prius's that overwhelm the views of the grand forests. Well, she then said "you say that one more time and I'll snatch the breath right out of you" I was like "ok". but these people here just seem to be somber most of the time and on some elitist agenda. How can i fit in here? If the company just wont give in to their directors demands they are, of course, eventually going to have to answer to the stock holders. The weather is cold and dreary, the warmth is fleeting, the wind is increasing, the old loneliness is setting in, my face..... stoic, my pulse..... calm, my soul.... gone. So, i guess whole foods it is then.
