Is this normal gf behavior?

Miy girlfriend and I have been having a rough time lately and I really don't understand it or get it but I feel like she is asking to much from the relationship. Like for example we were texting and just kinda talking and I had something I had to do so I was like ill call you when im done. When I call her and just start talking to her she gets real somber and depressed when im like what's wrong she says nothing and after a little bit of you sure she talks about how I haven't been romantic and gushy all day. I don't know what to say to this kinda thing if we have a convo and im not like aw sweetie I love you she gets depressed and makes me feel and tells me im being neglectful. I want to talk to her cause I love her and she can be alot of fun but for the least while, its just mushy gushy when we talk or she gets numbed out. Am I being neglectful or is she asking to much
